Unlike many other businesses, 2020 was beneficial for the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) industry. The number of new charge points grew 32% YoY. The percentage growth varied across different countries depending on the incentives, grants and funding offered. The current global market is dominated by countries with EV and EVSE friendly incentives, which will be necessary to shift from ICEs to EVs.
