Volvo’s electric bus market share continues to strengthen in Europe

Over the past few years, Volvo has received large number of orders from number of cities throughout Europe. Lodz in Poland, Den Bosch in The Netherlands, Bodö and Ålesund in Norway, Aarhus in Denmark, Gothenburg and Malmö in Sweden and Luxemburg are some of these cities. Demand for electrification in public transportation has kept on growing desipte the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Volvo has recently received more than 850 electrified bus orders fromover 50 European countries. Volvo has particularly received more number of orders for it’s high-capacity Volvo 7900 Electric Articulated model. In total, Volvo has sold over 5000 electric buses. Link to the news:
