South-east Asia’s first largescale underground substation is under construction in Labrador, the substation will be built over the area of three hectors almost equal to 4 football fields and optimizing space in land-scarce Singapore.
The land above the underground substation, which will also be Singapore’s largest, will be used for a 34-storey commercial development, both the 230KV electrical substation and the commercial building are due for completion in 2024.
