Prague City to get around 750 EV charging stations in next 4 years

Recent announcement by the Prague City government unveiled the plan of installing around 750 EV chargers in Prague by 2025. The plan comes as a result to reach the target of installing 4500 chargers in Prague city by 2030. The location of the chargers capacities and family of chargers haven’t been revealed yet, but they will be spread along whole the metropolis. Although this announcement will help further increase of ev chargers installation, but there needs to be accelerated efforts made to strengthen the charging infrastructure in Czechia particularly Prague, as it is expected that the City will have around 200,000 EVs on road by 2030 accounting for 30% of the total cars, making the EVSE to EV ratio for the city to be 44:1.
