Munich’s first fully electric bus line

Munich is also now a part of the many cities in Europe which have atleast one fully electric bus line. Munich Traffic Association (MVG) inaugurated line #144 on which will run eight 12-meter Ebusco 2.2 city buses. These fully electric buses will be able to travel 300 km (186 miles) on a single charge. Overnight charging of these buses is sufficient for them to travel a whole day. MVG has planned to completely convert it’s bus fleet to electric over the next 10 years (by 2030). Furthermore, they have planned to power these buses through electricity generated only from renewable energy resources. Link to the news:
