Enel plans to achieve 120GW renewable target by 2030.

As a part of its strategic vision 2021-2030,Enel has announced to increase its renewable capacity to 120 GW approximately times more than the present installed base of 47GW which includes 5GW solar,13.5 GW wind, 27.8 GW hydro and 1GW of geothermal/biomass energy. To realize this target, company is planning to invest $ 83 billion. The energy company aims to decarbonize its generation mix significantly by adding 75 GW new of solar and wind capacity as well as 2GW of green hydrogen capacity. The increased investments by the energy companies in renewable sector is step forwards towards clean and green energy future.
