Einride unveils its driverless vehicles for autonomous freight hauling

Einride is a Swedish autonomous trucking startup. The company has unveiled vehicles for autonomous freight hauling and the company hopes to have these trucks on road by 2021. These vehicels comes in four levels. AET 1 and AET 2 weigh 26 tons, have top speeds of 30 km/h, have payloads of 16 tons, and a battery range of 130-180 km. AET 3 and AET 4 has different top speeds. AET 3 and AET 4 have top speeds of 45 km/h and 85 km/h, respectively. The company claims that these new vehicles can “reduce transport costs by up to 60 percent and CO2 emissions by a staggering 90 percent”.
