DHL is adding four BYD Class 8 electric trucks into its fleet. DHL will be using these trucks in the Los Angeles metro area. Chinese automaker BYD has its truck and bus factory in California. CEO of DHL Express said that implemention of these electric trucks will prevent more than 300 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions from entering the atmosphere per year as they continue to grow clean pick-up and delivery solutions. After addition of these four electric trucks, DHL may plan to give further orders to BYD. Link to the news: https://cleantechnica.com/2020/11/19/dhl-gets-electric-byd-trucks-in-los-angeles/
