What They Say About Us?
I joined PTR in December 2018 as an Energy Storage Researcher & Analyst, just getting to dip my toes in the field of Market Research and Analytics, as I had come from an engineering background. Over the past two years, I got the chance to work on a variety of projects, with me relishing in each new challenge that came my way and could feel myself evolving in my role, bit by bit. The work environment in PTR has been very constructive, with positive reinforcement and encouraging teammates that fostered my growth and helped in goal attainment.
Prior to PTR, I had interned in Oxford University Press (OUP) and Proctor & Gamble in Supply Chain and Process Improvement.
I joined PTR at the start of 2021 and I would describe this time with the company as exciting and challenging. Working as an Analyst for the Power Grid team; the technical research and interactions with industry experts from around the World has provided a truly Global experience. Being supported by a team of passionate and dedicated people, this has been an opportunity for me to learn and evolve as a professional.
My journey with PTR began in August 2019, right after I completed my master’s in electrical engineering from LUMS. During this period, I had a tremendous learning experience where I understood how to be an analyst and subsequently evolved immensely as a professional. While at PTR, I have acquired several skills that have proved crucial for my personal and professional growth. PTR taught me the art of multitasking as well as the importance of teamwork. Currently, I am leading my team of analysts with a focus on Power Grid.
The corporate world is fearsome but to my delight PTR provides a motivational work environment unlike any-other and I am extremely honoured to be working with a set of people who help you progress rather than pulling you down.
PTR has provided me with an encouraging environment where my contribution is valued despite being a new part of the team. Due to the remote nature of the job, It has given me the opportunity to interact with people from different parts of the world. Working at PTR has been a journey of constant learning which has not only helped me grow professionally but also personally.
I joined PTR in 2019 as an analyst. Although I worked in the energy sector prior to joining PTR, but market research was something new to me. Since day one, I was given liberty to conduct research independently and contribute to some major projects on topics ranging from grid, power quality and e-mobility, this gave me confidence and invaluable experience to build things from scratch and own them.
In a matter of six months, I was given responsibility to lead the E-mobility research at PTR. Since then, the experience has been exhilarating, from starting off as the sole person conducting research to building and leading a team of 6 talented analysts to pull off critical projects has been a great learning experience.
Before joining PTR, I worked at Schneider Electric as a project engineer. I completed my bachelor’s in electrical engineering from LUMS (Lahore University of Management Sciences) in 2017. and I am currently pursuing my MBA from IBA (Institute if Business Administration), Karachi.
As an electrical engineering graduate, I joined Power Technology Research as a junior analyst for team eMobility. I had been given the opportunity and flexibility to approach my responsibilities with an adaptive behavior, allowing me the freedom to both learn and grow as a team member and as a leader. I currently work as an analyst, researching and analyzing the domains and potential growth of the EV charging industr
One thing which has really helped me settle in PTR is the respectful and supportive culture. Since beginning, I have been able to grow professionally as much as company itself.
