AMSC has reported power systems orders of worth USD 15 Million

American Superconductor Corporation a leading system provider in the power industry has received orders worth $15 million from US based customers. The orders will serve local renewable and industrial sector. The orders include supply of AMSC’s D-VAR STATCOM system, AMSC’s D-VAR VVO system as well as NEPSI’s metal enclosed capacitor banks and harmonic filters for increasing the hosting capacity of distributed generators by providing reactive compensation and grid stability to decrease the power losses. AMSC is second company to receive reactive power compensation orders in USA after Siemens in 2021. Link to the news:
